ALVIN, Texas — Woven Metal Products (WMP) hosted a number of representatives from various refineries across the U.S. as part of a learning day. During that day, WMP conducted Q&A presentations that dealt with issues seen in tower internals, reactorinternals, field work and other issues that WMP deals with on a consistent basis. The presentations were interactive and informative, with people sharing experiences, problems and solutions.
The day included lunch as well as a full shop tour, showing various internals in production in different stages, the equipment used to make various internals, as well as all the custom fabrication done on a daily basis. Over 50 people were in attendance for the educational day, as WMP frequently conducts these for various refinery groups, chemical plants, licensers and other partners who wish to bring their own customers in and showcase products.
