DISTRIBUTOR TRAY

Typically the most common of a Reactor tray system, this can be a stand-alone tray or in concert with other trays. If it is with other trays, the Distributor tray is usually the last step in the flow process. The Distributor tray is extremely important because an even flow is critical before the feed is sent to the catalyst below, in order to optimize the process. Tolerances and metallurgy are extremely critical because of the high precision needed due to the various feeds and temperatures present in the process. WMP understands these needs and has serviced licensors and end-users for years, meeting the most difficult requirements in the industry.

MIXING TRAY

In hydroprocessing reactors, mixing is required between catalyst beds and equal mixing is important to ensure the efficiency. WMP understands this process and therefore takes steps necessary to manufacture uniform and precise mixing trays.

QUENCH TRAY (OR QUENCH ZONE)

Quench trays are used for adding an agent or another product to the feed. Because of the important nature of adding agents or products, it is imperative that the tray is uniform to allow for proper mixing. WMP routinely manufactures precise quench trays for a variety of processes.

SCALE CATCHING TRAY

Scale Catching tray is used to catch trash or waste product, at times the smallest of particles. This is critical to ensure that waste particles do not transfer to the catalyst bed below. WMP understands this process and manufactures precise scale catching trays that help extend the life of the reactor process.
