PERFORATED PLATE

Perforated plate catalyst hold-down/floating screens offer unlimited options and patterns to facilitate proper media retention/hold down and feed distribution requirements. Perforated plate offers a robust design, turnkey solution for optimizing and utilizing full bed distribution while reducing or eliminating the channeling or cone effects within the catalyst bed.

Perforated plate is a great choice for catalyst beds that need additional distribution devices to ensure full bed utilization, often overlooked in de-bottlenecking options. Common materials include carbon steel, all grades of stainless steel and other high alloy materials.

  • Easy to install or remove
  • WMP offers multiple hardware options to fit any need
  • Very short lead time item
  • Easy to clean
  • Easy to handle – man way installable sections manufactured and labeled to fit the vessel

PROFILE WIRE

Profile wire hold down/floating screens offer very similar design characteristics as the perforated plate with the exception of a continuous slot opening to facilitate proper media retention/hold down and feed distribution requirements. Profile wire offers a turnkey solution for optimizing and utilizing full bed distribution while reducing or eliminating the channeling or cone effects within the catalyst bed.

Profile wire is a great choice for catalyst beds that need additional distribution devices to ensure full bed utilization, often overlooked in de-bottlenecking options. Common materials include all grades of stainless steel and other high alloy materials.

WIRE MESH/WIRE CLOTH

This is commonly used as a quick catalyst bed hold down option when bed distribution and process de-bottlenecking are not required or considered. Common materials include all grades of stainless steel and other high alloy materials.

  • Easy to handle – man way installable rolls that are unrolled inside the vessel to fit parameters
  • Very short lead time item, typically same day order
  • Easy to install and replace
  • Typically a lower cost item
