Spark for the Future Scholarship
Each year, Woven Metal Products awards a Houston-area student or educational program with the annual Spark for the Future Scholarship.
At Woven Metal Products, we believe in forging a stronger future — one student at a time.
Each year, through our Woven Together community outreach initiative, we proudly award the Spark for the Future Scholarship to a Houston-area student or educational program committed to pursuing or teaching excellence in the fields of metal welding and metal-working trades.
About the Scholarship
The Spark for the Future Scholarship includes a $1,000 award presented to a student or qualifying educational program with a focus in:
- Welding
- Metal fabrication
- Other metal-working specializations
Scholarships are available for students pursuing vocational training, accredited certification programs, or undergraduate degrees (two-year or four-year) in qualifying Texas counties.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident of OR currently enrolled in a school located in one of the following counties:
- Brazoria
- Fort Bend
- Harris
- Galveston
- Be actively enrolled or planning to enroll in a welding or metal fabrication program in 2025
- Have an expected program completion date on or after August 15, 2025
- Must be able to provide enrollment verification upon request
Application Timeline
- Applications have closed for 2025. Please check back in January 2026 for next year’s application.
